In 2005, WTO conference was held in Hong Kong. During the conference, a lot of protestors from world wide came to Hong Kong to show their spirit of resistance. And it was the first time Hong Kong police threw tears gases in public. Many photographers (both professional/photo journalists or amateurs) were following the whole processes. I thought it was an excellent opportunity to collect all related photos and share the experiences as well. A few artists had committed to hang up their photos and set up their artworks During the four weeks exhibiting time, other photographers could held their photos freely. Every weekend, open discussion session was held. There was no censorship, totally liberal. Even some policemen passed by to see the exhibition. I could see the excitement on their faces. This was my first time as an exhibition curator.
